Tiago Henrique Damil Gomes (born 29 July 1986 in Oeiras) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for G.D. Estoril Praia as a left defender.
A product of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's youth ranks, Gomes spent his first three professional seasons on loan, only appearing for the Reds during pre-season: 2006–07 at C.F. Estrela da Amadora - in the top division - where he played with namesake Tiago Filipe Figueiras Gomes, and the following at Poland's Zagłębie Lubin.[1]
In August 2008, another loan was agreed, and Gomes joined CA Osasuna for 2008–09, making no competitive appearances for the Navarrese.
In the same period in the following year, he was released by Benfica, quickly joining another Lisbon outfit, C.F. Os Belenenses. Also here, he did not manage to be first-choice, and his team suffered relegation at the season's end.
